Special One-Day Course, Monday, May 26th in Fishkill, NY
We invite all old students to join us for a special one-day course on Monday, May 26th, held at the Fishkill, NY non-center site. This course is an opportunity to refresh your practice in a quiet, natural environment, meet the greater NY area Vipassana community and get teacher support.
This one-day course takes place between the two 10-day courses at Sharpe Reservation, and serves in place of the usual spring 3-day course. With space for up to 100 students, it offers an opportunity to gather at a larger scale for a single day of meditation.
The course will be led in English, with support from seven Assistant Teachers who conduct Burmese, Russian, Hindi, and African Heritage courses. We are actively working to expand this support to include Chinese and Spanish.
This one-day course will include:
- A morning orientation introducing all seven ATs
- A closing Q&A panel for collective discussion and teacher reflections
