Health and Safety Protocols for Residential Courses at Sharpe Reservation, Fishkill, NY

The following information applies to anyone staying overnight on site, at Sharpe Reservation, whether for a meditation course or work period.

If you feel ill, please stay home and rest. The campsite and course is an unusual setting where participants spend extended periods together in the cabins, dining room, and meditation hall. Anyone who arrives sick will not be accepted, and we regret that we do not have the facilities or resources to take care of those who become ill during the course.

Please advise your emergency contact of the possibility that you will contact them if you become ill and are unable to return home independently. All students will be asked for emergency contact information when they arrive at the site.

If you develop any cold/flu/covid symptoms during the course, we will ask you to wear a mask to help prevent the spread of illness, and optionally to take a Covid-19 rapid test. Please bring a mask.

During the course, anyone who becomes too ill to follow the course guidelines and course schedule, or tests positive for Covid-19, or who has symptoms but prefers not to test, will be asked to go home. Please have travel plans in place for such a possibility.

See the additional information in What To Expect.
