New York Non-Center Courses for Spring 2025

The NYVA Course Committee has determined the dates for the non-center courses to be held in Fishkill, NY in the spring of 2025. We will be holding two 10-day courses, with one one-day course in between. Applications for both students and servers will not be open until February 2025. Mark your calendars! The links to apply will be posted on the course schedule page. 

Important Dates
Set-Up weekend: May 10 -11th
10-Day Course: May 14 – 25th
One-Day Course: May 26th
10-Day Course: May 27th – June 7th

Volunteer Opportunities for Old Students
Servers will be needed for Set Up weekend, Day 0 (*old student password required) of both 10 day courses, and during the courses themselves. It is very helpful to have trained servers in order to put on successful courses, and we encourage anyone who might be interested in developing the “know how” to organize courses to try serving with a Team. NYVA’s Course Committee consists of the following teams which are responsible for the course’s organization: Kitchen, Household*, Grounds*, Meditation hall, Registration, Admin support, and Dhamma service.
